- Uniform percolation rates due to the extractor’s deep-bed (1.2–1.5 m) design and adjustable dwell time (60–90 minutes), ensuring complete miscella (oil-solvent mixture) concentration gradients.
- Low solvent-to-meal ratios (0.8:1 by weight), reducing steam consumption in the desolventizer-toaster (DT) system by approximately 15% compared to rotary extractors.
